American composer and conductor Robert Ian Winstin wrote more than 200 works, including 5 symphonies, 2 piano concerti, a ‘cello concerto, two violin concerti, and many chamber and solo instrumental works. Maestro Winstin was the Principal Guest Conductor & Composer in Residence of the legendary Kiev Philharmonic, Recording Conductor of the Prague Radio Symphony and Music Director & Founder of the Millennium Symphony.

Called the “Ambassador of New Music” by United States Senator John Warner (VA), his work as a conductor of new works has earned him many awards and cemented his reputation as a champion of contemporary composers. Robert Ian Winstin's recording of his “Oedipus Requiem” marks his 50th recording of not only his own works but the new works of colleagues.

Robert Ian Winstin founded ERM Media to issue his own works and that of other contemporary composers.  Selections here highlight his own compositions.
