The featured release below celebrates the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of John F. Kennedy, by coupling new and historic recordings performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Washington D.C. Included is a world premiere recording of Remembering JFK by the late Peter Lieberson. The recording features narration by celebrated actor Richard Dreyfuss, piano by Ondine recording artist Tzimon Barto and is the first recording to be issued by the NSO under its new music director Christoph Eschenbach. Also included are excerpts from the previously unreleased 1961 Inaugural Concert, featuring beloved pianist Earl Wild, who passed away in 2010.
