BIS-CD-1860 PETTERSSON, A.: Symphonies Nos. 1 and 2 (Norrkoping Symphony, C. Lindberg) Born on 19th September 1911, Allan Pettersson was a singular voice in Swedish, and indeed European, 20th-century music. Christian Lindberg was entrusted with the manuscript material of his unfinished Symphony No.1, and was able to prepare a performable version, giving the work its world première in May 2010.
