The Foundation serves as an advocate for musicians, ensembles, and composers seeking to make an impact and career in the classical music world. Cedille's catalog of recordings demonstrates its ardent support for the contributions of women and minorities in classical music. Cedille Records provides an essential link between some of Chicago’s finest musicians and composers and music-loving audiences around the world. Additionally, the Foundation works with local music schools and libraries and sponsors concert events to provide greater community access to the work of Chicago’s classical musicians.
