Kaija Saariaho's La Passion de Simone, an oratorio about the life, passion and thoughts of Simone Weill for soprano solo, choir, orchestra and electronics, is now released for the first time. The piece is considered by many (including the composer) to be the most important Saariaho work, and the recording features top performers such as Dawn Upshaw (soprano), Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Tapiola Choir.

Goffredo Petrassi was one of the most important Italian composers of the 20th Century. This world premiere recording focuses on his diverse compositions from the 1930s and 1940s, including the first composition to win him renown, his Partita. Also included, his meditative Coro di morti perhaps his finest achievement in choral composition.

Winning first prize in the II BNDES International Piano Competition in Rio de Janeiro brought Fabio Martino invitations to perform in Brazil, the US and Europe in 2011. That same year, he was also the winner of the BDI International Competition in Munich.

naïve continues their Vivaldi Edition series with this album 'Per Pisndel'. All the concertos selected here are linked to German violinist Johann Georg Pisendel, a close friend of Vivaldi who spent considerable time in Vienna, and carried these and many more Vivaldi works back to Germany with him.
