Fauré, G.: Masques et bergamasques Suite / Pelléas et Mélisande Suite / Dolly Suite / Pavane / Fantaisie / Berceuse (Seattle Symphony, Morlot)
Seattle Symphony Media: SSM1004

Gabriel Fauré's most beloved orchestral works are presented here in audiophile quality sound. With naturalistic imaging, depth of field and dynamic range, these recordings aim to capture as realistically as possible the sound of the orchestra performing on the Benaroya Hall stage. A rare recording of the choral version of the famous Pavane marks this as a definitive and necessary collection.
