The brilliant New York Polyphony releases their eagerly-awaited second album for BIS, this time containing three early music masses augmented by modern commissions. Andrew Smith contributes a Kyrie, the movement Tallis's mass leaves out, and Gabriel Jackson provides the closing Ite miss est.

Violinist Midori joins the NDR Symphony Orchestra and Christoph Eschenbach to record this tribute to Paul Hindemith commemorating his death 50 years ago.
