Moniuszko - Rare Opera Overtures Stanislaw Moniuszko was Poland's leading opera composer in the 19th century with a tremendous gift for writing melodies, many of which are distilled in these operatic overtures. Antoni Wit and the Warsaw Philharmonic are known for bringing attention to Polish composers courtesy of the Szymanowski recordings on Naxos. more info
Brodsky Quartet America is the theme of New World Quartets by the renowned Brodsky Quartet. The program begins with Dvorak's 'American' String Quartet No. 12, written during the Russian composer's visit to American in 1893.
