Shostakovich Symphony No. 14 - Vasily Petrenko, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Dmitri Shostakovich completed his 14th Symphony in 1969, dedicating it to Benjamin Britten, who gave the premiere a year later. This is the next to last volume in the complete Shostakovich cycle of recordings by Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. more info
 
Ingrid Jacoby - Mozart Piano Concertos 14 & 27 Pianist Ingrid Jacoby's new recording of Mozart's Concertos K449, K595, and the Concert Rondo K382 features accompaniment by Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Orchestra. The release of this high-profile recording marks an important milestone in Ingrid Jacoby's career. A second volume of Mozart Concertos is planned for autumn 2014. more info

Weinberg Complete String Quartets Inspired in part by Shostakovich's widow Irina, the Belgian Danel Quartet began collecting the scores to all 17 String Quartets by Mieczyslaw Weinberg in 1995. Over 5 years of recording (2007 - 2012) later, we have the complete set on CPO. more info
