2010 marks the bicentennial birthday of Robert Schumann (1810 - 1856).  Raised in a literary tradition, Robert Schumann made a decision between 'poetry and prose, or call it music and law' at age twenty.  He studied piano, and wished to pursue the life of a concert pianist until an injury to his hand forced him to turn his attention to composition.

To celebrate the Schumann year, a number of labels have issued new recordings of Schumann works.  Working with our labels, we have arranged to offer 25% off all the recordings listed below.

Featured Releases:

SCHUMANN, R.: Symphonies Nos. 1-4 (Royal Philharmonic, Nowak)
SCHUMANN, R.: Piano Works (Complete), Vol. 1 (Uhlig) - Piano Sonata No. 3 / Romanze / Scherzo / Fantasie, Op. 17 (Schumann and the Sonata, Vol. 1)
