Burt Bacharach is one of the most prolific, inventive and celebrated pop composers of all time, responsible for a staggering fifty-two Top 40 hits throughout the 1960s and 1970s.  Bacharach's songs have been hugely successful while challenging the norm of what a popular song should be, always containing novel harmonic and tempo shifts.  In this new album, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates the genius of Bacharach, performing specially written arrangements of favorite Bacharach songs and joined by leading vocalists from London's West End Theater district.
