Neeme Järvi and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra continue their Swedish journey with this second volume of orchestral works by Kurt Atterberg, one of Sweden’s leading 20th century composers.  Atterberg wrote nine symphonies influenced by the Russians, Brahms and Reger, combined with tuneful and charming folk flourishes. The second volume of his symphonies includes Nos. 2 and 8.
