Having walked on stage together over 1700 times over the past seventeen years the St. Lawrence String Quartet has established itself as one of today’s leading chamber ensembles. The group continues to build on its reputation for imaginative, spontaneous music making.
The ensemble has commissioned and given premières of works by many living composers, including Ozvaldo Golijov, Christos Hatzis and Jonathan Berger. The St Lawrence String Quartet are Artists in Residence at Stanford University.
