Stephane Deneve

Music Director of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra since 2005, Stéphane Denève has made regular appearances with the orchestra at the Edinburgh International Festival and BBC Proms. A champion of the works of Albert Roussel, he and the orchestra were given a prestigious Diapason d’Or de l’Année award in 2007 for their first disc featuring the French composer’s works.

In recent seasons Stéphane Denève has appeared as a guest conductor with orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Symphony, Czech Philharmonic, Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, NDR Symphony Hamburg, and the Zürich Tonhalle Orchestra.
