Peter Marschik (conductor) trained at the Wiener Musikhochschule (piano, song, composition and conducting), taking his diploma in 1981. He has been the pianist in the Beethoven Trio and has conducted the Vienna Boys’ Choir; in 1991–1996 he was artistic director of the choir. He has toured in Europe, North and South America, Japan and Australia. He has appeared with several orchestras in Europe and a guest conductor with the Wiener Hofmusikkapelle. On CD his recordings include Händel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Haydn’s Creation with the Vienna Boys’ Choir.
