The troubadour Raimon de Miraval, a member of the minor nobility, shared with his three brothers the castle of Miraval near Carcasonne, destroyed in the Albigensian Crusade. He spent time at the courts of Aragon and Castile, and was associated with Count Raimon VI of Toulouse.
Songs
22 of the 48 surviving songs of Raimon exist with their music, a substantial amount from the repertoire of one troubadour.
