Debbie Wiseman is one of Britain’s most prolific film and television composers, with more than 200 film and television credits. These include the scores for The Passion, Jekyll, Flood, Judge John Deed, Wilde, Tom & Viv, Freeze Frame, The Guilty, Before You Go, Othello, Arsène Lupin, He Knew He Was Right, Michael Palin’s New Europe, Sherlock Holmes & the Baker Street Irregulars, My Uncle Silas, Tom’s Midnight Garden, Warriors, Johnny & the Bomb, Haunted, Catherine the Great, Stig of the Dump, The Private Life of Samuel Pepys, Beaten, Middletown, The Andrew Marr Show, Manhunters, Feather Boy, Serious & Organised, P.O.W. and The Project. Her album of music to accompany the fairy stories of Oscar Wilde was nominated for a Grammy Award and was then made into a trilogy of animated films—Wilde Stories—for Channel 4. She has been nominated for two Ivor Novello Awards, and has won a TRIC Award and two RTS Awards. In 2007 she was awarded the Gold Badge of Merit by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, and was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Trinity College of Music. Debbie Wiseman also appears in concert halls across the country conducting her film scores. She is a regular guest at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual “Filmharmonic” concert at the Albert Hall, and has conducted the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a sell-out concert of her
