.col files work with ClassicsOnline Download Manager software to deliver music files after customer purchase. If you are having trouble with your .col file, you probably have not installed the Download Manager. ClassicsOnline Download Manager is free for use with .col files. How do I get my downloads from a .col file?
When you complete purchases, and click Download Now in the My Downloads screen, ClassicsOnline, your browser downloads a .col file the same way it would download any file such as a .pdf. You double-click the .col file, and the Download Manager automatically launches and retrieves your music. You can watch the progress as your music files download.
