Review By Lee Passarella,Audiophile Audition,July 2013

The Bavarian orchestra plays with expected fervor but with great discipline as well…the recordings are quite good. There are a number of fine recordings of the eight Schubert symphonies available; I now count Maazel’s among them. © 2013 Audiophile Audition Read complete review

Review By Ángel Carrascosa Almazán,Ritmo,July 2013

…the music of Schubert…is very attractive indeed—tuneful, often bright, and beautifully flowing. Maazel proves to have an excellent way with these works…the orchestra plays all these works splendidly, and the set as a whole showcases the skill and beauty that Schubert…brought to the symphonic form. © 2013 Infodad.com Read complete review

Review By Christophe Huss,Le Devoir,May 2013
