Review By Philip Clark ,Gramophone,September 2013

Eötvös drives Bartók’s first movement manically, while the second movement is conspicuously swept clean of romanticised affectation in favour of a more chaste mode of expression.

And even navigating Ligeti’s most far-flung harmonic and textural terrain, you sense that Kopatchinskaja never forgets that the composer, forever looking forwards, was also unpacking sonic memories of his homeland. Against robust competition, this disc forged ahead to take our Award of Awards because it has a story to tell—and exactly the right people are telling it. © 2013 Gramophone Read complete review on Gramophone

Review By Erik Levi,BBC Music Magazine,February 2013

The sense of fantasy and fluidity that Kopatchinskaja draws from the solo part holds you spellbound © BBC Music Magazine

Review By Arnold Whittall,Gramophone,December 2012

Patricia Kopatchinskaja performs these three concertos by composers born in Hungary with her trademark panache and the recorded balance gives her all due prominence…there’s an impressive sense of common purpose and collaborative zeal throughout.
