If you enjoy colourful Latin-American music in a wide range of moods, all appropriately conveyed by the performers, there’s no need to hesitate. Pluhar’s booklet-note is pretty thorough…the important thing is to enjoy the music for its immediacy and honesty…it is deeply pleasing…the whole project gains strength and variety from its quality of performances.
