The Best of Lumbye  

The album is one of a kind. Lumbye has combined all the sounds available in an orchestra along with the beat to provide listening pleasure. It is so good to hear this new fresh classical music with a noticeable beat.

I liked all the tracks, but the Galops are my favorite. They included Copenhagen Steam Railway Galop, the Champagne Galop, and Petersborg Champagne Galop.

The performances of the different tracks were so pleasant and enjoyable, it was hard to believe the music was classified as classical.

The different artists performing the tracks do so in a manner that causes the listener to tap the foot and nod the head to the beat. If Lumbye could hear these artist, he would approve of their performances.

It is a fun album to own and enjoy with my family.

Other albums I have purchased and enjoy are those of Anderson. He combines all the sounds of the Orchestra and beat as Lumbye does.
