Big Sound
I recently heard the Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta for the first time at a concert in Canberra given by a specially augmented Australian Chamber Orchestra. I found the music very exciting and so did the audience. Like me, most of the people around me were hearing it for the first time and there was quite a buzz of approval among them. As I wanted to hear it again, I bought this album. Here it is even more impressive as it is being played by a much larger orchestra. This 320kps offering provides impressive sound if you use high quality earphones and by the time you get to the end you may be jumping out of your seat. I was more familiar with the piano concerto and so didn't find it so exciting.more....
