The Rudra Veena  

The rudra veena is the instrument most associated with Nada Yoga : the yoga of sound. Narada is a rishi who has a veena in his hands. The inner sound from a veena belongs to that conscious sphere where a non-dual state may arise.

So this album is not really to be judged on whether we "like" or "dislike" it which are purely static judgements. It needs to be heard and the effects on us are what is important.

In this sense the Z.M. Dagar is a master of the instrument and here provides us with 2 classical ragas beautifully executed.

There are other albums by Dagar and by other masters of third instrument which are to be recommended.
