Pure delight  

At first the strings seem a bit on the fragile side, but in reality Adam Fischer creates an excellent balance between the strings and the winds - there is a unique, complementary balance between the two. The detailed, carefully and intelligently thought-through phrasing brings out the characteristic Mozart experience. The SACD format gives the strings their due sonority. Some might consider the tempi to be on the fast side, but I think they are marvellous. The 'Menuetto', for one, hits the perfect character of the dance.
