Great Album
This is a lovely album, but the experience is marred by the lack of any information about the music and the organ which is not named. One is not even given the location of the organ. The album title,Vitraux, French for stained glass, is a mostly quiet selection of music that relates to church windows. The Mulet Esquisses Byzantines (excerpts)is charming. The most exciting music on the album is the Allegro from Church Windows by Kayser. The organ captures the moving light rays coming through stained glass windows. Several of these composers I have not heard of before and it would have been nice to have more information about them and the music contained in this album. If you can overlook this large omission I can recommend this album. The sound is very good.more....
