Cracking Koechlin
Composers are overlooked for lots of reasons. Some deserve it, but Charles Koechlin emphatically does not. If you think Villa-Lobos invented unusual instrumental combinations, think again. Here are two Septets for very different - some would say eccentric - groups. If you seek music for unusual instruments, here are two Sonatinas for oboe d'amore.
