William Moriconi

Born in Naples, William Moriconi is first oboe of the Orchetra Sinfonica di Roma under the direction of Francesco La Vecchia, playing on many tours abroad, including to the United States, China, South America, Russia, Greece, Spain, and Germany. Prior to this he played with Suono Italiano per l’Europa, Italian musicians in the European Union Youth Orchestra, which included tours in Italy and abroad. William Moriconi studied in Florence and in Switzerland, and then at the Teatro Alla Scala Orchestra Professional Academy under Riccardo Muti. He is now involved in a range of cultural projects in the United Kingdom as a solo artist and artistic director.
