Susanne Rydén has a wide range of repertoire, extending from the medieval to the modern. In particular her interpretations of Baroque music have won acclaim. She studied at the Royal Conservatory in Stockholm, at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Rene Jacobs and with Jessica Cash in London. As a soloist Susanne Rydén is in great demand and appears with leading ensembles and conductors, including Roy Goodman and Joshua Rifkin’s Bach Ensemble. She is also a member of the Stockholm Baroque Soloists. Concert-tours have taken her to major musical centres throughout Europe, and she has also made guest appearances in the United States of America, Australia and South Africa. Her career has brought many recordings, broadcasts and television appearances and has also involved her in teaching.
