SULAMIT HAECKI
Sulamit Haecki was born and brought up in the town of Zug. She studied with Anton Fietz and Nicolas Chumachenco at the Zurich Conservatory, graduating in 1984. Three years later, after further study at the Hochschule fÃŒr Musik in Freiburg-im-Breisgau (also with Nicolas Chumachenco), she was ready for a career as a soloist. Between 1987 and 1991 she was a member of the Residential Orchestra in The Hague, at the same time working with Zino Vinnikov at the Rotterdam Conservatory towards her SoloistÂs Diploma. In 1992 Sulamit Haecki returned to Zurich, where she has since played first violin in the Opera Orchestra. As a member of several chamber music ensembles she has delighted audiences with her perceptive and passionate musicianship. She has been playing with the group La Partita since 1993 and has collaborated with them not only in numerous concerts but also in two CD recordings. She has also appeared with La Partita as soloist, for example in the Salzburg Summer Series in 1993 and 1994, at the Vivaldi Church »Santa Maria della Pietà « in Venice in the spring of 1995, and in the autumn of the same year during an extensive concert tour of Belgium and Holland.
