Shaker Hassan (d1972)


Giuseppe Andaloro, considered one of the leading international concert pianists of his generation, was born in Palermo in 1982. Winner of the Bolzano Ferruccio Busoni Competition, the London World Piano Competition, and of numerous other prestigious international piano music awards, he studied under Sergio Fiorentino and Vincenzo Balzani and graduated with full marks, full honours and special mention from the Giuseppe Verdi State Conservatory of Music in Milan at a very young age.

He has performed at renowned festivals, including those of Salzburg, the Ruhr- Klavier, the Due Mondi of Spoleto, the Prague, the Duszniki-Zdrój Chopin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Sendai Classical, as well as at some of the bestknown institutions, concert halls and auditoria, including the Grosses Saal of the Salzburg Mozarteum, the Munich Gasteig, Rome’s Parco della Musica, the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, the Oxford Sheldonian Theatre, the Paris Salle Gaveau and Salle Cortot, Tokyo’s Sumida Triphony Hall, Pablo Casals Hall and Metropolitan Art Museum, the Sapporo Kjtara Hall, Osaka Phoenix Hall, Sendai Grand Hall, Hong Kong City Hall, Porto Auditórios do Rivoli, Kraków Philharmonia, Prague Dvofiák Hall, Fort Worth Bass Performance Hall, Montevideo Auditório Sodre, Pretoria Old Mutual Hall, and the Tel Aviv Recanati Auditorium.
