The violinist Saule Rinkeviciute graduated from the MK Čiurlionis School of Arts as a student of Undine Jagėlaite. When she was eleven, she started giving solo concerts, together with the Lithuanian State Symphony and St Christopher Chamber Orchestras as well as Klaipeda Musical Theatre Orchestra. She is a laureate of the George Enescu International Competition (2000), was awarded a diploma of Balys Dvarionas National Competition (2002) and won second prize at the Raimundas Katilius National Competition (2003). In 2005 she entered the Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow and a year later was offered a Russian state scholarship and invited to study at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Maksim Fedotov. She graduated with honours in 2010. Her career has brought international appearances and concerts in collaboration with her pianist sister, Ruta.
