The Canadian bass-baritone Paul Grindlay has a degree in Music from the University of British Columbia, and has performed with many respected ensembles including the Vancouver Bach and Chamber Choirs, the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, the Vancouver Cantata Singers, and the Portland Baroque Orchestra. He has appeared with the renowned Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, the Kingston Symphony, the Toronto Chamber Society, the Toronto Consort, the Vancouver Chamber Choir, the Carmel Bach Festival, the American Bach Soloists, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Aradia Ensemble. He has recorded Purcell and Charpentier for Naxos and appeared in the 1998 Opera Atelier production of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro in Tokyo. He was featured in some twenty acclaimed performances with the Wiener Kammeroper.
