Pablo Amoros

Born in Córdoba, Pablo Amorós began his musical studies in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Córdoba, finishing with the highest marks. He then moved to London to continue his training with Noretta Conci, a former student of the legendary pianist Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. On his return to Spain he studied with Alicia de Larrocha and Leonel Morales. Currently he receives valuable advice from the Spanish pianist Cristina Bruno. He has participated in masterclasses with pianists such as Walter Craft, Marcella Crudelli, Hans Graf, Natalia Troull and Joaquín Achúcarro. A prizewinner in various national and international competitions, Pablo Amorós has specialised in romantic and contemporary repertoire. He has played in most of the Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, and Córdoba, and has also been invited to play in Italy, France and England. In addition to recitals and chamber music he has performed with the Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Ciudad de Córdoba and Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, with conductors Ovidiu Balan, Vsevolod Polonsky and Alejandro Posada.
