Marianne Eklöf – Margret

Educated at the Swedish Opera Academy in Stockholm and Juilliard School of Music in New York. Opera début at International Vadstena-Akademy in 1982. 1984-95 she sang leading parts at Malmö Music Theater in the south of Sweden in Carmen, Rigoletto, The Italian in Algier and Merry Widow and appeared in other Swedish and Scandinavian opera houses in Hoffmann’s Tales, Simson and Delilah, Ring des Nibelungen, Rake’s Progress e.g. At the Royal Swedish Opera she has sung in Salome, Rosenkavalier, Die Stadt, Carmen, Don Carlos, Lohengrin, Vie Parisienne e.g.
