Update me on new releases by Gallagher

Kevin R. Gallagher

Born in the United States, Kevin R. Gallagher, was originally trained at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, before moving to the Juilliard School of Music in New York where he became a pupil of the famous guitarist, Sharon Isbin. In 1993 he took first prize in the Guitar Foundation of America competition, ensuring a number of engagements around North America. There followed other competition successes, including the prestigious Naumburg Competition in 1996. That in turn took him to the top place in the 1997 Francisco T"rrega Competition, the first American ever to win this major award.
