Ivan Magri

Ivan Magrì was born in Catania and studied at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan with Giovanna Canetti and Wilma Borelli. He also received tuition from Luciano Pavarotti. The winner of several international competitions, including the Riccardo Zandonai and Francesco Maria Martini, he made his début in the summer of 2006 with Ernesto in Don Pasquale, followed, in 2007, by Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore in Udine and Pordenone. His career has since taken him to major opera houses in Italy, Slovakia, Ireland, France and Japan.
