Felix Wang is associate professor of cello at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and cellist of the Blair String Quartet and Blakemore Trio. He is also the coprincipal cellist of the IRIS Orchestra, under the direction of Michael Stern, and on faculty during the summer at the Brevard Music Center. He has won several competitions, including the National Society of Arts and Letters Cello Competition, whose judges included Mstislav Rostropovich, Raya Garbousova, and Lazlo Varga.
