Enrico Maria Polimanti (b1969)

Enrico Maria Polimanti was born in Rome in 1969. He studied at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia with Carla Giudici and at the Royal College of Music in London with Yonty Solomon. He has performed in many concert seasons and music festivals throughout Europe and United States. A versatile pianist, Enrico Maria Polimanti enjoys playing a wide range of solo repertoire spanning from Jean-Philippe Rameau to Caroline Shaw.

He has given recitals dedicated entirely to Haydn, Mozart Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Debussy but also to lesser-known composers such Robert Fuchs and Hyacinthe Jadin. He worked with Neil Thomson, Adrian McDonnel, James Lockhart, Massimo Pradella, Flavio Emilio Scogna, Trio Ludwig, the members of Quartetto Bernini, Luciano Giuliani, Monesis Ensemble, Andrea Noferini, Giulio Plotino, Marcello Nardis, Lydia Easley, Mark Kroll, Sandro Cappelletto, Costantino Mastroprimiano, Francesco Dillon, Angelo Colone, Francesco Giammusso and Ermanno Veglianti.

He continues to record for the labels Naxos and Tactus and his performances have been recorded and broadcast in Italy (Radio 3, Radio Vaticana, Radio Classica, V Canale della Filodiffusione, RAI 3), France, USA, Switzerland, Romania and Austria.
