Emanuele Pedrini

Born in Leghorn, Emanuele Pedrini studied opera singing, choral music, choral conducting and band orchestration at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma. He subsequently studied composition at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice, working as a chorus member at the Teatro La Fenice. In 2005 he obtained his Diploma in Orchestral Conducting at the Conservatory in Venice, the first ever student to do so in the Conservatories of the Triveneto region. From 1990 to 1996 he conducted the Lirico Lombardo Choir. In 1998 he was the conductor of the Arena Sferisterio Choir in Macerata in central Italy, achieving widespread acclaim and excellent reviews in both the local and national press. In 2001 he prepared the Choir of La Fenice for the staging of the opera Camera obscura by Marco di Bari, which received its première at the Venice Biennale. He is the artistic and musical director of the Quodlibet Cultural Musical Association chamber orchestra and choir.
