Antonii Baryshevskyi studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine with Valeryi Kozlov. He has won fourteen national piano competitions, and won first prize and other important awards in several international piano competitions, among them First Prize at the Fourth Enescu International Piano Competition in Bucharest in 1999; Fourth Prize at the First International Sviatoslav Richter Piano Competition at Zhitomir in Ukraine in 2003; First Prize at the Fourth Performer-Composer International Piano Competition in St Petersburg in 2004; First Prize and Special Prize at the Eighth Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kiev in 2005; First Prize at the Second International Piano Competition in Michelstadt, in Germany, in 2006; First Prize at the Fourth Isidor Bajic Piano Memorial Competition at Novi Sad, in Serbia, in 2008, and First Prize and Contemporary Music Prize at the 51st Premio Jaén International Piano Competition in Spain in 2009). He was a scholarship holder and laureate of the Ukrainian programme Man of the Year 2005. Antonii Baryshevskyi has performed in various concert halls as a soloist and with orchestras in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Spain and the United States of America. He took part in the EuroRadio Youth Concert in Munich in 2006. He has made gramophone recordings, as well as radio and television appearances for the Ukrainian and Serbian Radio-Television.
