Patrik Hakansson

Patrik Håkansson studied with Knut Sönstevold at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. He also studied with Peter Bastian, Klaus Thunemann and Chris Millard. Patrik Håkansson has performed with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Oslo Radio Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Roman, Musica Vitae, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and the Gävle Symphony Orchestra. The Swedish composers Niklas Willén and Johan Hammert have written bassoon concertos dedicated to him. Patrik Håkansson has been a member of the contemporary music ensemble KammarensembleN in Stockholm and The Helios Woodwind Quintet.
