The Hungarian viola-player Janos Fehervariwas born in 1958 and studied at the Györ Conservatory and at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, before spending five years as principal violist of the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra. He is a member of the teaching staff of the Liszt Academy and a founder member of the Budapest Strings.
