Update me on new releases by Silvestri

Massimilliano Silvestri

Born in 1979 in Cetraro, Massimiliano Silvestri first studied the piano. He continued with vocal training at the Naples San Pietro a Majella Conservatory, completing his studies with distinction and going on to the study of opera under William Matteuzzi. He won the Arte in Canto competition at Basciano (Teramo), where he appeared in Piccinni’s opera Le finte gemelle, and developed his understanding of Rossini repertoire under Bruno Praticò. He made his début in Strauss’s Salomé, Cagnoni’s Don Bucefalo, Viardot’s Cendrillon, and Gluck’s Orpheus and Euridice at the 33rd, 34th and 35th editions of the Festival della Valle d’Itria. In 2010 he appeared in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Festival dell’Intermezzo e dell’Opera Buffa under the direction of Bruno Praticò. He also gave a concert, Buffisi nasce, with Bruno Praticò at the Teatro Flavio Vespasiano in Rieti and at the Torre del Lago Puccini Festival.
