Poul Rosenbaum (b. 1952) is one of the leading pianists in Scandinavia. He has travelled widely in the USA, Europe, and Mexico, and he is especially well known for his performances of contemporary and romantic piano music. He has appeared at major festivals and given a number of first performances. Poul Rosenbaum, who is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, won a scholarship for further studies at the Juilliard School, New York, where he made his debut in 1978. Since then he has been on numerous concert tours in the USA, performing, giving master classes, and teaching as a guest at many universities. His recordings include works from the romantic and contemporary repertoires.
