Lisa Kadala

Principal clarinetist Lisa A. Kadala of Michigan, joined the United States Marine Band in 1985. She was appointed principal clarinetist in 1992 and served as clarinet section commander from 1996 to 2005. She began her musical training at age eleven, and graduated in 1979 from Churchill High School in Livonia, Michigan. In 1984, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in music performance at the University of Michigan School of Music in Ann Arbor.
