Madeleine Mitchell is widely regarded as one of Britain's most outstanding violinists, performing as a soloist in over forty countries for two decades. The winner of many awards, she broadcasts frequently for both television and radio internationally including the BBC and the Proms with Joanna MacGregor. Madeleine represented Britain in the festival UKinNY with a recital at New York's Lincoln Center and gives recitals in a wide repertoire in many international and British festivals. She has played concertos with orchestras such as the Polish and Czech Radio Symphonies, Wurttemburg and Munich Chamber, the Royal Philharmonic and other London orchestras and for the BBC. She has recently performed in Symphony Hall Birmingham International Series and with Imogen Cooper and Natalie Clein at the Leicester International Chamber Festival.
