Philip Martin (b1947)

Mogens Winkel Holm occupies an important place in Danish music, especially because of the great variety of roles he has played: originally an oboist, he has also been a choreographer, organizer in the Danish ISCM section, chairman of the Danish Composer's Society for many years, and a member of countless boards and comittees. His works include chamber music and music for orchestra and has earned him his position as one of Danish modernism's great individualists.
