The flautist Leonid Lebedev is a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied with Yuri Dolzhikov. Upon graduation, he played for many years as principal with the Tchaikovsky Large Symphony Orchestra. Leonid Lebedev is now a principal of the State Symphony Orchestra.
