Grethe Krogh

Grethe Krogh was professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music for a number of years. The prizes won at international competitions by her students, who came to her from all over Europe and from the United States, confirm her reputation as a teacher. Since 1990 she has devoted herself exclusively to a freelance solo career. Grethe Krogh has toured all over Europe, in the former Soviet Union, and in the United States, which she has visited more than a dozen times in connection with extensive concert tours. Grethe Krogh has often given first performances of organ works, and is internationally known for her large, extremely varied repertoire. Among her recordings, of which several have included Danish music, are Carl Nielsen's organ works. She has won numerous prizes for her playing, and is in constant demand as juror at international competitions.
